Getting Lost…

What can I say??? It looks like its time to get lost again…

WTF??? I Mean Really, WTF???

6 hours on Metal Gear Online and I am still lvl 1 for all the skills equipped??? Man the level up requirements are more sadistic than Lost Planet... Niama...

激怒 x 100000000000!!!

Couldn't get online at all yesterday... my ISP was doing one of its "upgrading" exercises... You know one of those unannounced ones... so there was no blog surfing, no chatting on msn, no gainjin-isation and heck no email for me till about 5 minutes ago...

It sucks hairy balls because I always make it a point to pay on time and from last week till today, I have been denied the use of the internet because of various "upgrading" exercises... It pisses me off even further when the guy next door who hasn't paid his internet bill in 5 months (also on the same ISP) gets to surf the net without a hitch... maybe I should start defaulting on my bills for better service... hmmm...

On a lighter note, I played some viva pinata yesterday and managed to get a roario!!! It was a little irritating at first because he kept eating doenuts and leaving the zumbugs alone, so I had to keep replenishing the doenuts (you need at least 5 doenuts and 5 zumbugs in your garden)... then it hit me... Why don't I dig a pond around the doenuts??? Genius eh???It sure was because after that, the roario proceeded to eat the zumbugs!!!

If any of you guys need a roario let me know...

Its Been A Long Day...

Damn... my feet hurt from all that walking...

Its been a long long day... In a good way though... started the day off by watching episode 20 of heroes... followed it up with brunch at marche... met up with kinky nicky for Spiderman 3 after that (if you haven't watched it yet don't bother as the movie sucks hairy balls)... went for an all you can eat dinner at Bangsar Seafood Village (rm 38.00++ till the end of May 2007) and the food was DIVINE (Jeanie and I are seriously considering the venue for our wedding and we've brought the menus home to have a look... will have a quick word with our folks to see what they think)!!! After pigging out for two hours, I proceeded home for a gun orgy of halo 2 with cerebralrogue, keantan and assorted matchmaking boffins... the games were kick ass I tell you... no where as hectic as the gaijin-isation games but still top class (speaking of which... where did all the japanese go??? Is it some holiday in Japan, because I can't seem to find a lost planet ranked match)... the gun orgy that is halo 2 was promptly followed up with some more wanton violence in the form of riot act... Phew... I wish I had more days like this...

Finally...

After all these nights of banging my head against the wall, it finally worked... after testing that I could finally go online with my halo 2, I downloaded all the map packs again... hopefully they'll be some halo 2 action tonight before I continue with the gainjin-isation...

More??? Hell YES!!!

More gaijin love was dished out until the wee hours of the morning as my valued comrade (what the japanese would refer to as ryouuu) or xbox live companion (what the japanese would refer to as nakama) and I, spread the loving to more japanese homes!!!

The gaijin-isation (yeah we sorta made that word as we went along) was not an easy one as the japanese fought valiantly to protect their national pride, alas... the power of the two gaijins proved too great... they put up a good fight but... heck I guess the pictures will describe what happened...



Heck we might as well have a japanese class while we are at it... the term gaijin (外人) is used to describe someone who is an outsider (generally used to denote that a person is not japanese)... one has to take note however that the term is a shortened version of the word gaikokujin (外国人)which translates to foreigner and is normally used in non flatering manner...

Ryouuu or 僚友 translates into comrade and is often used to describe a person who shares a common purpose or goal with you... the term nakama or 仲間 refers to someone that in a way is like a comrade as he fights beside you but it denotes a more proximate relationship... something brotherly in a way... the above is not to be confused with douryou or 同僚 which is essentially a colleague...

Gaijin Loving...

Gave the wonderful japanese people more gaijin loving just now and it was hilarious... clearly the level 90+ players are so jaded that they believe they can survive a direct hit from a vs canon... hehehehehehe... I just love the japanese... must make it a point to visit japan soon...

I think I've been playing too much lost planet... Don't think so??? Maybe this will change your mind...

163 ranked matches... It may not seem like a lot but, you have to take into consideration that 40 of those matches were played between last sunday and today...


hehehehehe... in addition to the above, the medal tally has gone up a fair bit this few days too...


How can anyone not like lost planet??? Its got all the elements of a kick ass game... big guns, bigger robots (vs) and even bigger explosions... Its gonna take alot for another game to replace it as my preferred multiplayer game...

Looks like we'll be seeing two new maps (Hive Complex and Trial Point) for lost planet today for (400 ms points)... Hmmmm to buy or not to buy... hmmm...

It's Ok...

I am so glad that everything seems to be ok... the box is functioning as it should and my heart is at ease...

Fired up lost planet for some ranked match action... lots of it... a total of 14 ranked matches were played tonight and I walked away with the following medals:

2 x Team Elimination Medals
1 x Fugitive Medals
4 x Post Grab Medals

Managed to move up two levels as well (so I am now level 32) hehehehehe...

I wonder what its gonna be like tomorrow... Hmmmm...

I'm So Scared...

After playing a couple ranked matches last night, I popped in my PGR3 disc to burn some rubber in Vegas when suddenly, everything literally turned into shit... the textures vanished, the track went all weird, the sky was non existent... I promptly ended the game and turned off my box... Should I turn it on tonight and see if everything is ok??? I'm a little scared (heck very scared) to be honest...

Freezing My Butt Off...

Has the "lost planet" fever died down already??? I've been sitting in a ranked match lobby for 15 mins and no one has joined my game yet... Prior to this I spent a similar amount of time trying to quick join a game... Looks like spring has come afterall...

Say What???

The beads of sweat are still rolling off my forehead, my thumbs feel like they're been ripped from my hands with pliers and my eyes are still screwed... but its all worth it... I've broken the 8.1 million barrier in Heavy Weapon... hehehehehe

In other related news, I managed to pick up 5 team elimination medals in lost planet and pushed my gamerscore to 11001... Not bad for a lazy Sunday eh???

The Last Two Hours...

The medals I managed to rack up in the past couple of hours are as follows:

2 x team elimination medals; and
1 x post grab medal

Only managed to increase my rank from 21 to 22 tonight as the opposition was tough!!! Good thing I had QuakerMY's help in some of the games...

Hmmm Heavy Weapon is on the marketplace... might as well download it and give it a go before I get to bed...
