The Best Game On The PS3 (So Far)...

After close to a year with the PS3, I can honestly say that I've played the best game that the platform has to offer today... Seeing that I've played and completed MGS4 a couple months ago, it is safe to conclude that its not MGS4 (for that matter its not any game that I have had in my library prior to today)...

The game that has beaten titans in the PS3 library is none other than "The Last Guy"... At SGD 13.99 for the full game, it is a steal as it is one of those games that is really easy to get into but requires oodles of skill and dedication to master... Its crazy addictive as well, as the game is inherently simple it just works... there are no lame gimmicks or overly shiny textures or weird control schemes... Its just a game that is well put together... A highly recommended purchase if you have funds left in your PSN Wallet...

The Only Way To Enjoy MGS4...

The DS3 is essential to enjoy and play MGS4 the way it was meant to be played... The sixaxis doesn't quite cut it...

The Two Who Are Yearning For Attention...

I can't choose!!! Both are equally tempting... bursts of 1 hour each??? I might just do that hehehehehehe...

Setting It Up...

Eoj is fun as heck but there is only so much that you can do with the included starter deck and booster, so I got a little something to spice it up...

A BIOLITH SCOURGE SUMMONER'S COMPANION!!!

The above theme deck is comprised of:

1 x flame magus
2 x freedonian wanderer
1 x monk elder of okunada
2 x tritonan ice guard
2 x skeleton soldier
1 x novogus catapult
2 x leapfrog bandit
1 x samurai nagirashu
2 x biolith bomber
2 x imperial biolith guard
2 x biolith battle chariot
2 x morning star warrior
2 x behemoth groundbreaker
1 x taurus monolith
1 x ouroboros dragon
1 x goghlie altar
1 x clare wil's banner
2 x summoner mesmer's errand
1 x seer vizak's calamity

I especially like the samurai nagirashu card as it forces your opponent to discard one card if the samurai is destroyed on a wood element area... nice eh??? The summoner mesmer's errand is a fairly decent card as well as it allows you to draw 2 cards after you offer the card to the eye... very very nice...

After I tweaked my deck, I caught some games with zerg1008 and here are the results...

yoroi3 - 1 zerg1008 - 0

yoroi3 - 2 zerg1008 - 1

and the grand finale...

yoroi3 - 3 zerg1008 - 1

Also managed to play some tori emaki... The experience is just so beautiful that you only realise how much time you spent on it when your arms get so tired they feel like they are gonna pop from the sockets... A great purchase at sgd 2.99 hehehehehe... OK its late and its time to sleep...

Ooo!!! Look At That!!!

Here's the latest addition to my ps3 collection, eye of judgement: biolith rebellion and a sgd 40.00 psn wallet top up card (I'm using it to purchase tori-emaki, mesmerize race and aqua vita [all at sgd 2.99 each hehehehehe])... Good thing zerg1008 was kind enough to help me get all this stuff from singapore (as its a lot cheaper and I doubt I'll be able to afford all that here)...
