What If…

So you’re bored with all the random heroics and progression runs (or lack of) and you’re looking for a short distraction from your daily World Of Warcraft routine… What could you do, if you wanted to take a break and yet still play the game???

Do you sit idly in Orgrimmar and toon watch, or do you do something productive???

Well I opted for something productive and leveled Herbalism from scratch to 525 !!!

After having the customary victory drink, I thought to myself, “Why stop at 1 when I can do 2???”

I guess the achievement log above says it all eh???

A Little Short…

Short of 2 points on my item level to do 10 man raids!!! All I need is 1 more upgrade and I should be good!!!

I’ve been so busy catching up with all the changes in WOW that I haven’t blogged in ages… For starters, Elvis ain’t looking too good these days as everyone is more interested in leveling their alts and farming Justice points… Azeroth is burning like a bunch of rednecks at a bbq and the new racial combinations are insane… Tauren Pally’s FTW!!!

In my previous post, I was talking Sindragosa being a pain in the ass, thankfully after lots of trial and error, we showed her who’s boss…

This is a blow by blow of the last few moments (with only 3 DPS, myself and 1 healer left standing)…

The last 1.2 m HP on Sindragosa…

At the last 511k HP on Sindragosa (only a paladin healer and myself left at this point… the healer was keeping me up while I had to dps the last 500k before we got wiped)…

And here is a nice group picture after everyone got rez-ed…

Uber Frustration…

For 2.5 hours we fought and fought but the odds were against us and we could not down Sindragosa… The closest we got was 2%… Looks like we have to try tonight…

A Very Good Run…

The Last 11 Days…

Its been a really eventful 11 days since I last updated my blog… Here is a recap of what happened in that period…

1 – I picked up Halo: Reach;

2 – I went for my first ICC 10 Man; and

3 – My WOW account was compromised and locked down (twice in the span of 11 days)…

I wonder what will happen next week??? Dead Rising 2 perhaps???

Hmmm...

Looks like I didn't get an invite for the weekly guild ICC run... Time to invite myself for the other guild's run :p

Gearing Up Is Hard To Do…

Its coming along slowly but there has been some progress… Current GS stands at 4.456k and the stats are now looking a little healthier…

4K GS Breached!!!

The last 3 hours have been very fruitful as I managed to push my GearScore (GS) up by 700!!!

The stats look healthier too… Have a look!!!

Gearing Up!!!

As you can see, the current setup is not the most ideal but it is way better than it was last week… There are finally 4 level 245 items in the mix and hopefully by next week there will be a couple more…

The stats have improved a fair bit but its no where near the guidelines that were laid out for effective raiding…

OMG!!! Even The World Of Warcraft Is Not Spared…

I was in a battlegrounds game earlier when everyone in the team was discussing the upcoming Cataclysm expansion pack… After 20 or so seconds of friendly banter and “OMG!!! The new features are gonna be so cool”, RACISM reared its ugly head in the form of the following statement:

Racist Twat : Looks like all of them black dudes are gonna switch over to the alliance once the new expansion ships…

<no response from anyone – 3 sec pause>

Racist Twat : Because Worgen is Negrow backwards… 

(Note: I am not going to divulge the details / player ID of the offending RACIST PIG as I have already logged a ticket and I will let Blizzard deal with it)

I have to admit that remark caught me off guard and it just goes to show how ugly RACISM is…

Is this the sign of the times, that we so proudly speak of??? Is this the progress that we have strived to achieve through improvements in the education system???

If it is, the world is definitely going down the toilet…
