It just occurred to me as to why the developers of rsv2 allow you to scan your face into the game...
SO THAT YOU'LL BE MOTIVATED TO PLAY THE GAME PROPERLY!!! NOT WANTING TO SEE YOUR LIKENESS GET KILLED IS A BIG MOTIVATING FACTOR!!!
