After a month of actively playing fallen sword (I started my account a month before I started playing and just left it dormant), I guess it was bound to happen. It was no longer feasible to purchase the items I wanted with the in game currency as that would require an unhealthy amount of grinding. I had to obtain some fsp to get the items I needed and this was achieved in a variety of ways:
- Referrals
- Fsp draws
- In game events
- Trading
- Purchases
So far I have made at least 70 fsp from methods 1-4 and this was used to "pump" up my character and to obtain the currently equipped sword and shield. As a friend remarked that some of the equipment prices are lower now, I decided to make my first fsp purchase (usd 5 for 29 fsp) to obtain the said items. As I would be using the items for at least 30 levels, that works out to be only approximately usd 0.17 per level. Not too bad no? Factor in that by the time I go up 30 levels the value of the equipment will appreciate, I could actually stand to make a healthy profit (as evidenced through the sale of my previously equipped items)... I love in game economies hehehehe...
