Ever used the disk cleanup wizard and find that your laptop is not hibernating anymore??? Well I had that nasty surprise last night...
It was a total MCB moment when I noticed that the hibernate function was not available, hence closing the lid did nothing except putting my lappie in sleep mode... sleep mode consumes very little power but it still consumes power... So when the juice runs flat, I lose all my unsaved work... NIAMA!!! Good thing I found the fix... Feast your eyes on the magic line that makes it all better!!!
powercfg /hibernate on
