As you can see the Q9400 is now running at 3.2ghz instead of its default 2.66ghz… All seems to be well and running fine… I ran SuperPI (20 passes) and the Intel Burn In Test (20 passes) and it seems to be stable… Temps are 38 degrees Celsius when idle and 58 degrees Celsius under load (with the stock cooler)… Gonna run Orthos now just to be sure…

sorry for screwing your stability tests. if i'd known my messages were stopping the tests i would have stopped messaging long ago. wait.. 2.66GHz --> 3.2GHz on a stock cooler? Like that i should upgrade my rig ... i dont have to buy top of the range parts either. my mobo is dead but needs new cpu and ram in order to work (mobo is THAT OLD). you just gave me hope for my comp yet. haha
