Super Street Fighter IV (“SSFIV”) is a very exciting game to play online due to the diversity of the players you meet and their differing skill levels… Through melting pot of ranked matches, one can learn new techniques and improve upon current skill sets and this, I feel will lead to a better SSFIV experience…
Once in a while, you’ll bump into someone you know and if you’re really really lucky, you might even meet someone famous!!!
Imagine my delight when not only did I got matched up with an ex-WCG player but it was someone that I have not seen and spoken to in years (due to his hectic working schedule and the fact that he is more than 500 km’s south)…
My my my what an experience it was!!! We were talking and laughing over the headset and I was marveling his massive-near-five digit BP when he suddenly went ape-shit on me…
You see, I have always thought that “imitation was the sincerest form of flattery” and I have watched many replays of Mr. ex-WCG player on the SSFIV replay channel ever since I got the game… Therefore, when little ole me with 420 BP miraculously won the match in question with a medley of focus attacks and throws he saw that an insult more than a homage… And what did he do??? He even gave me bad feedback about it!!! How did I know??? Well I even got a voice message from him telling me about the bad feedback he left…
I mean like WTF right???
After going through that, I am of the opinion that SSFIV is a game better played with strangers than your friends, who knows who else will go through the same thing eh???
