Got Em All!!!

I finally finished my multi-kill medal collection today!!! With the addition of the Killpocalypse! medal, I finally have em all!!! Oh and I got my second Killionaire too!!!

Parts Update (Part 4)…

As I was a little worried about the power requirements of the new add-on’s, I went shopping today and got a new psu… I did my homework beforehand and it was basically, I had to make a choice between a Gigabyte Odin Pro 800w (Modular), Xigmatek 750w (Modular) and OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w (Modular) psu… All of which are “80 plus certified” and have garnered sterling reviews from many enthusiasts websites…

In the end, I chose the Gigabyte Odin Pro 800w (Modular) psu over the two others based simply upon the fact that the price per watt was the cheapest…

Besides, I managed to get a discount on this one instead of the other two…

Thanks to Calvinzzz, the new psu has been shoehorned into my desktop while the loaner unit has been returned to KevinMYUS…

Now that the psu has been upgraded, it should be enough to last me for a few more upgrades… I wonder what I will add on next??? Hmmm…

Parts Update (Part 3)…

I totally forgot to check the power requirements when I got the 4890, it seems that 500w is the bare minimum and that became known to me when I started getting warning messages all over the place!!! Thankfully due to a swap with KevinMYUS, I’m back on track with a slightly more powerful psu…

So it is fair to say that the following benchmark was made possible by KevinMYUS heheheheh…

I have spent the last 4 hours trying to set up a wireless network in Jeanie's home (using the wireless router in their house) and guess what??? It screwed up every single time... At first, it wouldn't broadcast the SSID... then it wouldn't let me change the security method to WEP... then it worked for like 30 mins before going bonkers again... even the lan connection gave up... then the lan connection worked but it refused to give out ip's to the wireless connections... then came the best part, the router started refusing to save the settings (effectively killing the lan connections as well)!!! It even refused to work when the auto-configuration cd they provided was used (talk about classic)...

Who??? What???

Caught the "Perfect Stranger" at the cinema a while ago with (KevinMYUS, MrsKevinMYUS and Jeanie)... In short, the movie sucked more the vacuum cleaner I have at home... So if you haven't caught the movie, save your rm 10.00 and use it to buy yourself a bag of Kettle Chips... Its the same price but a whole lot more satisfying...

Yup you guessed it... The caller id thing is still on a fritz... Have to applaud them for the service level... 4 phone calls and it still doesn't work... I wonder if I should switch telcos???

In unrelated news, KevinMYUS and I went to look at the new Mitsubishi Lancer (here's the wiki) today as FerricideX is rather keen on getting one... What do I think of it??? Well I didn't even take one picture, so you can pretty much see what a big deal it was for me... Saying that the car looks like it was made from LEGO's would be too kind...

What I Bought...

As I seem to be losing my temper more often than not these days, I went shopping and... GOT MYSELF A NOHOHON ZOKU!!! A noho-what I hear you ask... Look at the wiki before you brain explodes... because you can't really figure it out from the name itself...

I didn't get just any Nohohon Zoku mind you... I got the limited edition one... the eco corn one to be exact!!! Apparently, they released the limited edition after selling 5 million of these little buggers worldwide...

The scary thing is, these little buggers are bloody calming... I mean 500 mg of morphine calming... You just wanna keep looking at these little buggers until you fall asleep... Hmmm maybe then the car is the worst place for me to stick it eh???

Since these little buggers are so calming, I suggest that KevinMYUS, get one as he's box had just died on him again... I guess its time to send it back to Singapore again eh???
