I just got back from work and as promised here's the update...
My blogshares account hit hardcore levels in its third day when... I guess I should just let the pictures do the talking...
A friend suggested that I should write a small guide to help new blogshares players... Although I am very flattered by his suggestion, I feel that I have not played the game enough to be a "person in the know", so there is no guide (for now)...
I've haven't had lots of time for forza in the past few days but in the limited time that I had, I managed to mess around with some cars and I now have a new favourite car!!! Its none other than a 2000 Nissan Silvia Type R (S15)!!!
The car painting craze has subsided (because I was looking at the forums and some of the designs there make mine look like something that some 2 yr old kid scribbled)... So I won't be assaulting your eyes (unless of course, I decide to practice some more until I churn out pieces of art... might take years though... :P)...
The pet project is coming along nicely as well... I can divulge much details (well I can't divulge any details actually)... but believe me when I say its coming along... It has taken a while (with all the procastrination) but we're finally off our butts and doing something about it... Its nice to know that some of you are supporting us throughout this rocky journey... thank you guys (you know who you are)... In part I am rather thankful for the series of unfortunate events that served as a catalyst for me getting off my butt (although I was screaming bloody murder in the beginning), because it has made me realize that people are most easily duped when they think you are helping them achieve your dreams...
I know some of you are asking about the show (the YTBN show)... All I can say is , we haven't shelved it... We have actually gotten the material for ep. 2 done and we're just waiting for the appropriate opening credits from Mobistudios... Good stuff takes time so you guys have got to wait... and when I said good stuff, I was talking about the opening credits...
Oh and I've laid a major misconception to rest when I borrowed Earth Defense Force 3 ("EDF3") from MarauderzMY on Saturday as I found out that not all budget games suck... In fact EDF3 makes most games (from bigger publishing houses and bigger budgets) feel cheap... I know you must think the visuals look dated and sound effects are no better than those you get from a soundrop (i.e. one of those keychains with a pre-recorded sound), but the ai in the game is easily one of the better ones around... Heck I would say its better than 80% of my game library... Besides its got all the ingredients of a great game... BIG guns, BIGGER monsters and EVEN BIGGER explosions... come on, whats not to like???
I've also consumed an obscene amount of alcohol last week as my old man was in the KL for a few days... and I think my breath still reeks of the stuff... Must make a mental note to drink less next time...
