So the new year is here... what about it you might ask??? Nothing much to be honest... Some prices are down (road tax and services) and some prices are up (toll charges and utilities), so its basically the same old thing every year...
Looking back at the last few weeks of 2006...
The last couple weeks of 2006 however were especially nice, as I managed to get some much needed rest, get blinged (new home theatre and some gadgets), got some wedding preparations sorted (well not very much was done but the major talks with the old man... Basically the old man is pleased with the way the relationship is progressing and has offered his advice on certain matters i.e. the budgetting, investment options, etc) and Jeanie and I (with the help of a portion of the Ho clan) managed to make an old lady really happy...
As usual, Jeanie and I had a rather quiet New Year's Eve... we joined my old man for brunch, some shopping and drinks before getting some takeout and going home to watch a dvd...
The first few days of 2007...
Well the first couple of days have been alright thus far... nothing has rubbed me the wrong way yet... I got a new lappie to usher in the year (major + points), ate a horrendous amount of raw fish (major + points), watched "The Curse of the Golden Flower" (the movie which had boobs spilling everywhere... major + points) and new curtains for the house (lukewarm + points)... I wonder what the next couple months will bring eh???
